An aggregated search system with multiple options for visualizing search results

CoMeRDa (Contextualized Media Research Data) is an aggregated search system that provides a web-based user interface with multiple options for visualizing search results. CoMeRDa enables search across multiple collections of the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision, separately (basic search), simultaneously (combined search) or looking for similar items across collections (similarity search).

It is one of the tools developed during the BRIDGE Project (2009-2014), a collaboration between the Intelligent Systems Lab Amsterdam (ISLA) at the University of Amsterdam (UvA), the Centre for Television in Transition (TViT) at Utrecht University (UU), and the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision (Beeld & Geluid). It was part of the NWO-funded CATCH Programme.
